The atlas of diurnal butterflies edited by Paolo Palmi - an expert of lepidopterans and Groane - is an invitation to respect the Park flora and fauna. As a matter of fact, the Park preserves such a rich animal and vegetable variety that the European Union has established in Groane two SCI (Sites of Community Importance) for the preservation of biodiversity.
