| The fluvial environment is characterized by meanders, lakes, lame (damp areas), rivers, woods, gravel and sands. A nature sanctuary clashing with the surrounding landscape characterized by rice monoculture. The morphological aspect of the area is strictly linked to the river Sesia, a torrential river characterized by many changes between low water periods and flood ones, giving the area always different features. |
