A nature oasis following the routes of migratory birds
"Le Folaghe" Park belongs to the village of Casei Gerola (PV) and extends over 70 hectares. Founded in 1999 the Park is a "renaturalized" quarry complex and it comprises a wide range of environments, especially water environments, resulting on the one hand from the different excavations made, on the other hand from a naturalistic planning. The Park hosts a rich biodiversity and is among the 100 best italian places for birdwatching with its more than 270 bird species.
