Visitor Centers

The Visitor Centers of Lura Park

Lura Park is committed to a constant work for the improvement and rehabilitation of the ecological network the protected area belongs to. In order to better exploit the local Park and these activities, besides organizing many events promoting an active presence in the territory, the Park Authority has created some permanent Visitor Centers for the enhancement of the various environments.
These structures mainly aim at providing useful information on the area which, despite the strong human presence characterizing it, has maintained valuable natural features. The territory is represented and told through reconstructions like dioramas and pools accurately representing the local habitats and the natural features of the protected area. Each structure houses a Center specialized in the interpretation of the natural ecosystems. In particular, Rosorè Visitor Center is specialized in the interpretation of aquatic ecosystems and Roccolo Visitor Center is specialized in the interpretation of the forest ecosystems.
