A short but very interesting walk along the path takes in three majestic specimens: an oak, a field maple and a sycamore, trees that are several hundred years old, many metres in diameter and more than twenty metres high. The three monumental trees we come across are at an altitude of about 1,300 metres, in a habitat characterised by a mixed forest of oak and holly.
