The Park's territory includes alluvial and very fertile areas that are particularly suitable - thanks to the climate and pedology conditions - for the cultivation of vegetables. One of these areas is the floodplain of the Serchio river, where the cultivation of spinaches, tomatoes, cabbages, melons etc. is well developed. The cultivation of spinaches and tomatoes is particularly developed in this area as well.
In Massaciuccoli's reclamation area, characterized by peat soils, especially kales and savoy cabbages are cultivated.
