Leaving the built-up area of Volta Mantovana and going eastwards, one leaves the via Ferrante Gonzaga to enter a wide plot of land following a pleasant itinerary leading to some woody coasts. One passes near the locality of Gatti up to reach the river Mincio after a turn on the south.
