'Il Muraio' Trail
- Difficulty Level: there are no particular difficulties, except along a stretch of trail leading to the summit
- Recommended Period: from March to June, from September to November
The trail, linking the old mule track to Pila Valley, clearly shows its ancient defensive origin: massive walls bound with mortar, cuts in the rock, watchtowers, and buttresses witness after centuries the strategic importance of Mt. Barro.
