Gli uccelli del parco del Monte Fenera

The new edition collects updated data demonstrating quality changes and, above all, distribution changes of the birds populating the Park in the period between the two census activities (10 years).
In particular, there are 6 new migratory species (Golden eagle, White wagtail, Eagle owl, Blue rock-thrush, Long-legged buzzard, Woodlark), while 7 species have disappeared (Red-backed shrike, Northern bobwhite, Crow, Pheasant, Kestrel, Starling, Crag martin), the cause being the abandonment of the cultivated areas. In the volume, the species are divided into migratory, nesting, and wintering species: for each of them, the distribution in the territory of the protected area, the habitat, and the period of presence are specified.
Useful scientific publication if, besides strolling around the Park, you would like to discover these wonderful animals.
