Parco Naturale del Monte Tre Denti - Freidour

Road Picchi - Ravera - Bric Giaione - Fontana del Prete - Colle della Bessa - Tre Denti

  • Trail Conditions: On foot

The itinerary leaves from the road Picchi-Ravera, near a parking area and a recreational area. The first stretch of the itinerary, crossing Bric Giaione ridge, connects Vallone del Chisoletta with Vallone del Rumiano and, crossing beautiful woodlands, gives the opportunity to reach two panoramic points where you can enjoy a wonderful view over Mt. San Giorgio (within the homonymous Provincial Park) with Piossasco and its castles, Moncalieri, the hill of Turin, and the Po Plain. The presence of steep rocky outcrops forces you to walk with several ups and downs towards Fontana del Prete. At the moment, the last uphill stretch towards Colle della Bessa is not a real trail, but only a track which is very difficult to find. When you reach the Colle, with the last effort you will get to Tre Denti: in front of the white small church you will enjoy an extraordinary panorama in all directions. On the second summit, the highest one, there is the top rocky area, with the framework supporting the Madonnina; the panorama is also enriched by the presence of the chapel on the summit you have just left.
