In the former Agriculture Institute of Itri there is a structure which is one of the causes of pride for the Park Authority. It is a nursery born from the need to produce autochthonous forest plants from seeds gathered in the mountains that can be used for reforestation, naturalistic engineering, and sale purposes. The same structure also houses the carpenter's shop, producing objects with the wood deriving from the forest and agricultural measures carried out in the Park. Besides these activities, there is a workshop for the creation of objects using the so-called "stramma", recovering in this way one of the ancient professions characterizing the local craftsmanship.
