Parco Naturale Regionale dei Monti Lucretili

The main feature of this edition of "Monti Lucretili" is the invitation to "read" a territory which, situated within a protected area, must be considered in the complex frame of its natural and human, physical and biological, and historical-social features. Drawing closer to these "house mountains" an increasing number of citizens prepared to awareness means at the same time promoting the acquisition of the "responsibility principle" towards Nature as a leading principle inside and outside of us. Scientific rigor on the one side and the richness in sensitivity towards the environmental issues on the other side witnessed in the present publication are the evidence that a modern approach has been achieved both as far as research and production of knowledge is concerned and in the political-administrative management of the territory. Evidence of this is the collaboration between Monti Lucretili Park Authority and the Provincial Administration of Rome.
