Sour Cherry Jam Tart and Small Tarts

According to the tradition, sour cherry jam tart and small tarts were prepared at home to celebrate particular events and some holidays. Today, thanks to the presence of confectioner's shops and local bakeries - mainly family-run activities - these products can be found in the shops every day.
The main ingredients are eggs (for every 9 eggs, 1 whole), sugar, lard, grated lemon peel, flour, and above all sour cherry jam giving the tart a slightly sour taste.
