How to get there

Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise is situated in the heart of the central Apennines, among Abruzzi, Lazio and Molise, at the same distance from the Adriatic and the Tyrrhenian Sea.

By Car
|
|
- If you come from Rome, you can take highway A24/A25 Roma-L'Aquila-Pescara, exit in Celano or in Pescina, and then go ahead to Bisegna (or to Gioia dei Marsi), or highway A1 Roma-Napoli, exit in Frosinone, then go ahead to Sora-Forca d'Acero and cross in this way the Park slope in Lazio.
- If you come from the south, take highway A1 up to the exit in Caianello and then go ahead to Venafro and Alfedena.

By Train

- The closest railway stations are Avezzano (Roma-Pescara line) and Castel di Sangro (Sulmona - Castel di Sangro line), then you will have to continue the journey by coach.

Public Transport

By coach
- Public means of transport link the Park to Avezzano and Castel di Sangro. During the summer, there is a direct bus service connecting daily Rome to the Park and vice versa.
