(Pescasseroli, 19 Aug 14) Pescasseroli, August 19th, 2014 - This is the positive news resulting from the census carried out by the Park Authority within the Life Coornata project funded by the European Community for the safeguard of this species.

The simultaneous census in the park has been carried out with the same methodology since 1993, and it is planned every year in July and October, with the aim to evaluate the population and the reproduction success through the census of the chamois calves and their survival rate in their first year of life.
