Discovering the manifold nature of the Park...
Once you enter the Park it is advisable to leave the car in the parking areas at the bottom of the valley and to continue your visit on foot. Only in this way you will be able to perceive the presence of the animals, to observe the natural environments, and to enjoy the contact with nature.
An important rule to respect is that you must walk and be absolutely quiet, on your own or in small groups; or, better, taking part in the guided hikes organized by the Park Authority. On the special tourist map, available in the Park Offices, you will find about 150 ecotourist itineraries, for a total length of more than 250 km. Each path, marked on the map by a letter and a number, has also been marked on the place with red-orange trail markers. If you want to take part in the special tours and walks organized by the Park Authority and guided by expert staff, you must book your visit in the local Offices and in the Park Centers.

A relaxing dive in the most accessible natural patches of the Park
"Nature Trails" are short itineraries offering the opportunity to carry out tours on foot, at direct contact with nature. Along each path, you will find rest areas signalled by numbered panels, where you will have the opportunity to observe, listen to, admire, touch, and smell everything we are going to explain in the description of the following itineraries. You will discover plants, animals, rocks, landscapes, fragrances, and sounds, whose presence might otherwise go unnoticed. "Sentieri Natura", particularly suitable to families, schools, and organized groups, are situated in the most characteristic places of the Park and in some Visitor Centers, and are marked by a letter followed by a 'N' (meaning "nature") and by a number (ex.: GN1) However, it is advisable to go along "Sentieri Natura" in groups of no more than 10/15 persons, in order to better perceive what the small and big inhabitants of the Park can offer: what they ask to you is respect and protection.
