In the heart of the Park, along the Upper Sangro, one of the most beautiful tours is represented without a doubt by the itinerary developing in Val Fondillo.
After parking the car in the car park at the entrance of the valley, go ahead along a dirt road up the Old Sawmill. The mountain chain closing the valley is Serra delle Gravare, while on the left you will see Mt. Amaro and, behind, Mt. Marsicano.
