On prairies and ridges, looking for the chamois

The world's most beautiful chamois: this is how our chamois - Rupicapra pyrenaica ornata, one of the rarest animals in Italy - has been defined. It dwells in impervious places, especially rocky cliffs, to escape predators: we will visit its natural habitat and observe its behaviour.

2020 dates: June 21 and 28; July 5 and 12; November 8, 15 and 22
Level of difficulty: intermediate

Departure after breakfast from the hotel and return around 4pm; packed lunch provided by the hotel

Please wear appropriate hiking clothes and boots and take water and a first aid kit with you.

Please remember:
If you have flu symptoms, stay at home.
Keep the safety distance; if this is not possible, wear your face mask.
Avoid hugging, handshaking, exchanging personal items, taking group pictures.
Sanitise your hands frequently.
Disposable gloves, tissues and a bag for your personal waste may be useful.
