Here we can found the presence of the rare white-backed Woodpecker or the the more mysterious and rare Rosalia longicorn beetle. All this makes the ancient forest of Pescasseroli a very special place.

A journey to the movie set of The Fox and the Child where the trees take on fairy shapes and where we have the possibility to see tracks of wildlife. The fox and the child recounts the story of a magical, life-changing encounter between a wild fox and a young girl, portraying the story of their impossible friendship played out against a breath-taking mountainside wilderness.
