From Piazzale Dante (car park) go down to the junction leading to the Guest-house S. Benedetto and follow trail SSP southwards, but turn right immediately after at the edge of a field (markers for a spring, then no more trail markers, except for the panels of the horse-riding trail), then carriage road downhill towards south-west, leading among hedges and fields to the underlying town of Carnola 735m. From the town center, follow the road to Parisola 664m, and at the end of the road go down along the carriage road on the left of a niche, southwards, until you reach a ford on Rio Dorgola: beyond it, follow the steep uphill trail.
