Parco Nazionale Appennino Tosco-Emiliano

On the summit of Mt. Giogo (1,600m, reachable by car), almost suspended over the Lagastrello Pass, in Tuscany, the gateway of the skies overlooks a 360° panorama: the sight encompasses the Po Plain and the Prealps, the Apennines from Mt. Cimone to the Cisa Pass, the Apuan range, Mt. Marcello and Val di Magra, Golfo dei Poeti and Cinque Terre.

Placed between the sky and the sea, by the imposing satellite dishes of a disused military radar system - today a piece of industrial archaeology - the gateway offers a glance on all the landscapes of the Sea and Apennine Parks.
