The Sea Center situated in Cala Reale was born with the aim to give the opportunity to children and visitors of Asinara Marine Protected Area and National Park to get closer to the extraordinary and fascinating marine world.
The project is part of Asinara Environmental Education Network, a group of didactic structures situated in various places, each one with its own theme. Moreover, the Center belongs to the "Knowledge Workshops" system and works as a support to environmental education residential courses characterized by direct experiences in the natural environment.
The structure housing the Center was a Bacteriological Lab at the times of the Quarantine Health Station.
The Center consists of a system of halls which reproduce different aspects of the main ecosystems characterizing Asinara Marine Protected Area.
