Inside the building, a former 2nd class Maritime Health Station during the quarantine period at the beginning of the 20th century, a historical route of the Island develops. The permanent exhibit "Isola di confine - Asinara - Paesaggio di Popoli sulle Orme di Ercole" (Border Island - Asinara - A Passage in Hercules' footsteps) is open all year round.
