From Fornelli landing stage, in the southern part of the island, going ahead towards Fornelli prison, Castellaccio Trail begins. The "Castellaccio" is a ruined medieval structure dominating the area and Fornelli strait. The final uphill stretch of the trail is a little steep but pleasant. You can get to the top in less than one hour.
