	Polsi (San Luca) 14th July Third Celebration of the Reconciliation On 14th July 2001 the representatives of the Authorities belonging to the Comunità del Parco Nazionale dell'Aspromonte, meeting in the Sancturay of Polsi, ratified a New Alliance between Society and Nature in Aspromonte, subscribing the “Carta della Civiltà dell'Aspromonte” (Charter of Civilization of Aspromonte). Since then, every year the Celebration of the Reconciliation takes place to renew the commitment to respect the Principles and the Values of the Charter. 	September - October Polsi (San Luca) 2nd September Settembre - Celebration of the Madonna della Montagna Thousands of believers from Calabria and from Sicily go on a pilgrimage every year to the Sanctuary of Polsi, a holy place rich in history and millenary traditions. At the end of the religious celebrations, the town comes to life with folklore, rich lunches, based above all on goat meat, and popular dances.
