The Seawatching courses for adults start again in the Cinque Terre Marine Protected Area
Three weekends dedicated to snorkeling between August and September: with diver's mask, flippers and snorkel to admire the beautiful sea bottoms of the Cinque Terre Marine Protected Area
(Riomaggiore, 04 Aug 15) During the meetings guided by the marine biologists, the seawatchers will contribute to the Volounteer Monitoring Program, which has reached its 8th anniversary.
Thanks to the work carried out by the seawatchers in the last few years, the Volounteer Monitoring Program provided many data on significant species living in the MPA, and together with experimental data they have been published in national and international magazines. "The work carried out in the last years in the Cinque Terre MPA", says Dr. Chiara Lombardi, the person in charge of the courses, "has taught us that everybody's contribution is very important. Help us protecting our sea and take part in the Volounteer Monitoring Program with the Seawatching Group!" (Read more in Italian)
