Advice for hikers: SVA Monterosso-Vernazza Path

Following the high number of people expected on holidays and pre-holidays, the Park recommends that you walk along the SVA path, in the stretch from Monterosso to Vernazza, during the hours from 09.00 a.m. to 11.oo a.m. and from 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.

(Sede del Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre, 20 Apr 22) From noon to 2.00 p.m. (time slot not recommended, with possible delays)

From 11.00 a.m. to noon and from 2.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. (high flow is possible)

From 09.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. and from 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. (low flow, trip recommended)

The staff of the
Park's visitor centres, located in the railway stations of the Cinque Terre hamlets (including La Spezia and Levanto) will be happy to provide tourists with information and materials concerning the Cinque Terre rich hiking network: over 130 km of paths with different levels of difficulty and points of interest in terms of culture and nature. At the link mappe.parconazionale5terre.it you can download the free web app with the guide to the Cinque Terre paths and their accessibility updated in real time.

During the time slots when a high flow is expected (i.e., from noon to 2.00 p.m./ from 11.00 a.m. to noon/from 2.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.), given the unusual verticality of the access stretch to the Blue Green Path (SVA, no. 592), Monterosso side, we recommend that you take the path from Vernazza.

Skip the line: you can buy the Park services' card, i.e., "Cinque Terre Card", for accessing the SVA Corniglia – Vernazza – Monterosso path, online at the link https://card.parconazionale5terre.it
