Dug into the rock between 1926 and 1928, it was the trail used by the railwaymen to move from and to Riomaggiore and Manarola railway stations on foot. Today it is a pleasant and romantic walk, suitable for everyone. Along the way, near Manarola, you will find the so-called "Bar dell'Amore", a very romantic café with sea-view terrace.
