At the saddleback of Sant'Antonio al Mesco, a hundred of meters above the ruins of the ancient monastery, trail no. 1 borders on an a particular octagonal watchtower, and starts to lead gradually downhill to Levanto. Going then beyond Casa Lovara, Rocca Spaccata, it enters Conca della Case San Carlo. At Giada del Mesco, as soon as you leave a stretch of asphalt road, it borders on Casa Massola where, in 1931, Guglielmo Marconi perfected his experiments on short-wave radio transmissions between Levanto and Santa Margherita. From Casa Massola, the trail continues downhill towards the eastern outskirts of Levanto, near the medieval castle and, after a flight of steps, ends facing Lungomare della Pietra.
