From the Telegrafo pass (513 mt. a.s.l.) the path climbs up to the intersection between the Verrugoli and Bramapane mountains, in the "Lo Spaccato" locality near the remains of a large military fort. The path now proceeds on a wide unpaved road with spectacular views of the Cinque Terre and has an almost level course up to the La Croce pass, where you cross path 501 which descends towards Riomaggiore; from this point the route restores and goes up towards Mount Galera. In the following flat stretch of the Costa Galera the path meets path 502 which descends to Manarola, near a small natural cave. From the pass of Monte Capri, at the end of the seaside of the Costa Galera, you can reach in a few tens of meters a Menhir lying on the ground. The path follows a level course, first facing south-west (seaside) in correspondence with Monte Capri and then Val di Vara side on Monte Cuna. The path re-enters the Cinque Terre, when you face a steep descent to the east pass of Monte Marvede. In correspondence with the descent, near a sandstone memorial stone, an unmarked path on the left leads in ten minutes to the spectacular peak of Monte Le Croci where you can enjoy a wide panorama. From the east to west pass of Monte Marvede, paths 506 and 587 cross, which descend respectively to Manarola and Corniglia. Then proceed among holm oaks, Turkey oaks and gorse along a short flat stretch until you arrive at the open space in Cigoletta (611 mt. a.s.l.). The next section is in common with the path 507 Vernazza - Riccò del Golfo.
