A short ring route allows youto discover an extraordinary environment: the Masiere di Vedana. A huge and chaotic accumulation of blocks of rock originated from an ancien landslide, first precipitated on the ancient Cordevole glacier and then "scattered" by the slow flowing of the ice, which once occupied what today is a peaceful countryside with foxes, badgers, spikes and owls.
Access: from Belluno take the SR 203 Agordina to Mas, turn left following the signs for Certosa di Vedana and San Gottardo.
Recommended period: from March to November
