Projects for the Schools - School Year 2012/2013

The Reason Why the Park Organizes Environmental Education Projects
Among the institutional aims of the National Park, environmental education plays an essential role to achieve nature conservation. The Park can be considered an outdoor workshop, where you can live a unique experience through the direct observation of the environment, flora, and fauna. An experience at direct contact with nature is a strong learning instrument, stronger than any book, and can also become an important instrument for the growth of individual and collective creativity. For this reason, the Park Authority organizes programs dedicated to any age bracket, in order to reach the highest number of visitors and make them discover the beauties of nature, the value of biodiversity and the Park itself, as an instrument of nature conservation and territorial promotion.
Besides organizing the activities, the Park Authority also promotes environmental education projects organized by other local subjects (cooperatives, environmental tour guides, etc.).
