Didactic publication dedicated to karstic phenomena and the formation of caves and cavities in Gargano, specifying the geological and geomorphological features of these formations.
The first section focuses on karstic issues, speleogenetic processes, and physical, chemical, and biological deposits present in the cave. It also includes brief notes on the geological features of Gargano National Park and a list of the most interesting natural cavities. The publication is enriched with several tables and photos.
