Inaugurated in 1955, Paradisia offers tourists the possibility to draw themselves nearer to the mountain and alpine plants they may see during their tours, comparing them with others, learning their scientific name, their geographical distribution and, therefore, learning to respect them.
In the Garden it is possible to go along two botanic itineraries with the help of a written guidebook or an audio cassette player, to see a petrography exhibit and a collection of lichens, to observe the butterflies in a special garden created for them.
It is situated in fraz. Valnontey, in Cogne. Open every year from June to September (Tel. +39 0165 74147).
