Andar per laghi

56 passeggiate a 196 laghi dalle Marittime al Gran Paradiso

A new guide from pathologist Furio Chiaretta, this time with an attractive theme: mountain lakes, one of the favorite destinations for hikers.
56 walks of varying duration and effort, to reach without too much effort 196 alpine lakes in the Cuneo and Turin valleys. It starts from the Parco delle Alpi Marittime, continues through the dozens of basins in Valle Stura di Demonte and Valle Maira, then among the lakes in which the Monviso is reflected between Val Varaita and Valle Po. We then proceed to the Waldensian valleys - Pellice, Germanasca, Chisone, in the Orsiera Rocciavrè and Val Troncea parks, on the Moncenisio Hill, up to trespassing from the high Susa Valley towards the Clarée Valley and the Stretta Valley. Finally, the glaciers that are reflected in the lakes of the Lanzo Valleys and the Gran Paradiso National Park, between the Orco and Soana valleys, are touched.
The trips are easy and suitable for all hikers, and some offer a slightly more challenging continuation to other lakes. There are circular or passable itineraries in two days by staying in the refuge, and walks suitable in late spring and autumn. 19 trips offer the chance to stop in a shelter or bivouac overlooking a lake, to admire the lights of sunset and sunrise reflected in the water.
