You cannot visit Val Soana without going to Boschietto and Boschiettiera, characteristic mountain villages dominated by the elegant pyramid of Torre Lavina with its 3,308m. The two villages lie at the edges of an alpine pasture you can reach after a pleasant walk along the mule track crossing an old woodland rich both in broadleaf trees and conifers. The departure can take place from both the small village of Forzo and the nearby village of Molino di Forzo. Coming from Tressi, you will notice a wonderful votive shrine set in the rock. The itinerary, characterized by a gentle uphill trail, gives the opportunity to enjoy the view of votive shrines and chapels dug into the rock and painted on it, as well as ideas to discover the curious legendary features of the local French-Provençal history. In the large snow-clad pastures you will cross to reach Boschiettiera from Boschietto it is not unusual to sight chamois and other alpine animals. Return journey along the same trail of the outward journey.
