A precious symbol of the Italian prehistory

The abundance and high quality of the precious archaeological finds discovered in the several sites of the territory of the Protected Area have urged actions of enhancement of this important cultural heritage. In particular, through the creation of a Museum in a cave at Grotta S. Angelo in Ripe di Civitella del Tronto, with a prehistoric hut reconstructed within the Park Visitor Center in Ripe di Civitella and the Antiquarium in Castel Manfrino at Macchia da Sole Visitor Center.
