Chamois International Congress

17 - 19 June 2014, majella National Park, italy

(Guardiagrele, 14 Feb 14) To share the Knowledge on chamois ecology and conservation.

Experts coming from the geographic area comprised between Spain and Caucasus will meet to share the knowledge and discuss conservation issues regarding the subspecies of the northern (Rupicapra rupicapra) and southern (Rupicapra pyrenaica) chamois.

The congress is intended for biologists and veterinarians working in mountain ungulates monitoring and conservation, researchers, students and for everyone who is passionate and interested in chamois ecology and conservation.

Participation is free but advanced reservation is necessary. More details on congress registration and the program will be available on the website of the Life Coornata Project www.coornata.eu and will communicated with a second circular on 1st april 2014.

English will be the official language of the congress.
