The fruits have a small-medium size, rhomboid-shaped, and a green color becoming red when they are ripe; the pulp is dry and compact. It is a pear ripening late in the autumn and in winter, which preserves well over the time. It is very appreciated for its good taste. Its name derives from its ripening season.
