This publication is a collection of the proceedings of the meeting held in Lama dei Peligni on 29th October 2005: a review of experiences and studies on the vegetal biodiversity in the protected areas of Abruzzi, an important instrument not only for the insiders, but also, and above all, for students, nature-lovers, and common people.
This volume illustrates also the results of the botanical-vegetation research activities carried out by the Park Authority over the years. Such research activities are based on surveys in the field and unpublished data that will be the object of future monothematic publications.
