    Activities 2005 - Coop. Majambiente

Coop. Majambiente - Caramanico Terme (PE)

    "A scuola di montagna"
Basic Courses of Naturalistic Hiking in Parco della Majella
The most authentic way to discover protected areas is still today to discover on foot the summits, the valleys, the animals, the hermitages, the villages. Usually you can walk along well-marked trails, other times along not very well visible trails and maybe in conditions of scarce visibility; in these cases, if you don't feel safe or you do not have a fried coming with you, you just give up.
The basic courses of naturalistic hiking have been created to meet this need: providing both the technical instruments and the knowledge enabling less expert hikers to autonomously "face" a trail in our mountains. Of course, paying attention to the fragile mountain ecosystems, with a responsible attitude, above all with respect towards nature.
The courses, which have obtained the heritage of Parco Nazionale della Majella and the Province of Pescara, are dedicated to the persons drawing nearer for the first time to the mountain environment and to the persons aiming at acquiring specific techniques and knowledge for a safe progression.
The lessons will be held by the Mountain Guides of Regione Abruzzo, by the Park Naturalistic Operators, by the members of the Scientific Committee of Club Alpino Italiano and by experts of the naturalistic field.
The programs of the courses and the entry forms are available in the secretariat of CEA c/o the Visitor Center in Caramanico Terme (Tel. and Fax 085/922343), or in the web site www.majambiente.it

Course of Education to the Environment and to Sustainable Development
The Course will involve didactic operators coming from other Italian regions and professional characters able to stimulate the training of each operator of environmental didactics on issues which need updating: sustainability, environmental and cultural biodiversity, but also psychology, pedagogy, and other issues which might be qualifying in the relationship school-operator.
Moreover, didactic operators coming from other Italian regions will participate and a part of the course will be dedicated to the public administrators: in this case, the Agenda 21 activities of some Municipalities and Provinces of Emilia Romagna will be analyzed.
In addition, the issue of the "green purchases" in the public administration will be dealt with, analyzing laws, bureaucratic itineraries, and the practical possibilities for a Public Authority to introduce in its purchase policies the Green Public Procurement criteria.
The course will be dedicated to the operators already carrying out this activity, and therefore meet their needs, but it will also meet the needs of teachers.
In March we will define the program of the course, and it will be possible to download from the web site www.majambiente.it the relative forms.

Moreover, the guides of the Cooperative are at disposal the whole year to lead you along the trails of the parks of Abruzzi.
Meeting point for all the hikes: Park Visitor Center in Caramanico Terme.
Before subscribing, you must read the participation rules.
