Make the image bigger		 Environmental education represents one of the essential instruments to promote cultural improvement through which man can feel an integral part of nature and to throw the bases for a sustainable development.
Educating to sustainable development has for the Park a strategic meaning, since citizens may acquire a responsible and propositional attitude towards their own environmental context.
For this reason, Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini has always focused its attention on a correct environmental education, starting projects and promoting the building and evolution processes of valid environmental education centers.

Environmental Education Centers

They are the reference points for a thorough knowledge of the Park's territory. They are managed by cooperatives, associations, and local Authorities playing the essential role to inform the visitors about the most important values of the Park and to make them respect the environment. The Environmental Education Centers are mainly addressed to schools, offering several programs lasting one or more days, according to the various educational needs.
