Naturalistic Mineralogical Museum

A man's passion for crystals and fossils

If you love nature, you will also be fascinated by the magic world of minerals. However, not everybody is interested in stones and crystals.
Edy Romani, eccentric founder and director of the museum, built his own experience in the field. And after years and many sacrifices, he has been able to collect and arrange one of the most important and interesting collections of minerals and crystals.
The museum is formed by two halls. One hall houses minerals, fossils, and rocks coming from the whole alpine chain and, in particular, from the mountains surrounding Bormio; the other hall is dedicated to the fauna and flora of the Alps.
Some examples of the minerals you can admire? Rock and smoky crystals, titanium minerals, "iron rose" hematite, white, red, green, and black garnets, beryls, fluorite and tourmaline…

We would like to remind you that in Stelvio National Park it is forbidden to collect minerals, except for research purposes after the issue of the specific authorization.
