"Il Castagno Reale" Education Centre is part of the regional sustainability education network (Redus). The facility is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Marsico Nuovo area, home to the Appennino Lucano Val d'Agri Lagonegrese National Park. The educational project of the CEAS turns around the theme of the discovery of nature and knowledge of the territory in all its components. Through play, tools are provided to know and understand the human-environment relationship by addressing ecological, anthropological and philosophical aspects. The centre is structured with diversified and interactive educational sections, aimed at involving users in "doing to understand".
