During the summer Acquamondo, the Park Environmental Education Center, also works as a museum and information point. Cossogno is a small and peaceful village situated 3 km away from Verbania. In the surroundings of Acquamondo you can visit: the 15th century oratory in locality Inoca, the characteristic "Roman" bridge along the trail to Rovegro, the recently restored mill (for visits, please call the Town Hall: Tel. +39 0323 468108), and the trails of the nature area "Sentieri dell'uomo nella natura".
