Environmental Education in Vesuvio Park
Some of the aims pursued by Vesuvio National Park Authority within its social object are deeply linked to environmental education issues. As a matter of fact, they include the safeguard, enhancement, and promotion of natural features, territory, and environmental integrity, with particular reference to the wilderness of the protected area.
The information and sensitization activity on some contents, such as the need to safeguard the areas that are subject to changes and the systems of specific naturalistic interest, to preserve and enhance the historical, artistic, and cultural heritage, and to find out and implement forms of promotion and financing for cultural, educational, and recreational activities in the fields of interest for the Park are activities on which the programs of the Park Authority are based on.
