The Fauna Museum was inaugurated on June 5, 2011, at the Palazzo Loiacono-Portera, in Mistretta.
The structure houses hundreds of taxidermal preparations coming, in large part, from the historical "Giambona" collection, acquired over the years by the Park Authority.
