Parco Naturale dei Nebrodi

Nebrodi are characterized by an extraordinary and unique variety of plants and trees: it is enough to say that in only 30 minutes you can pass from the sea level to 1,500m of height. Practicing both a nomadic and resident beekeeping, it is possible to produce top-quality honey using diversified "pastures", including citrus fruits, chestnut trees, acacia, eucalyptus, fruit trees in general, and the mountain mixed flowers.
The honey obtained is a genuine and very tasty product you can eat alone or together with other local products like dry fruit (pistachio, hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds), cheese, or use to prepare desserts and other dishes.
