Bergamasca sheep is characterized by a big size, white fleece, long and
dropping ears, long legs, and no horns. An excellent breeding animal,
it delivers three times every two years, with a 50% of twin births.
Therefore, it is exclusively bred to produce meat: the milk is used for
the lambs (which are sold at the age of 3, 4 months at the weight of 40
kilos).
