From the departure station of the chair lift of Pescegallo (1,454m) Val Gerola, follow the narrow road climbing the trail with hairpin bends or take the road leaving from near the stream, to abandon it after a few dozen meters and go ahead across the pastures by going beyond Casera di Pescegallo (1,595m).

Recommended equipment and clothing: no particular mountaineering equipment required.
Assistance Points: Salmurano Mountain hut and Benigni Mountain hut
